Kyanite is a beautiful bead, characterized by silvery schiller, or reflectivity, as the bead turns in the light. While not described as such by the supplier, these beads may have been over-dyed a rich navy blue to augment their natural color. This lovely chaplet for St. Benedict features a beautifully engraved reproduction Communion crucifix, with Jesus, Holy Mary, and a Raphael's cherub on the arm ends. Awesome ladder chain ties the whole piece together, assembled so the chain "climbs" up to the end medal. Lovely!
