Our fumed red brass rings are formed from half hard wire for strength. Fuming alters the actual surface of the metal so that the oxidized patina is durable and resists tooling. Unlike a dipped patina, the fumed patina has tiny variations of light and dark in the finished rings so that the aging looks very natural in a completed rosary.
