St. Augustine Chaplet in Ivoryite
St. Augustine Chaplet in Ivoryite
Ivoryite is a stone from Arizona, which very closely resembles the color of natural ivory without the downsides of being fragile and difficult to find. It is a creamy white stone, with slight patterns that break up the clean white color. These beads are double capped for a classic look, and connected with curb chain. The crucifix is art deco styled, and the St. Augustine medal features sharp, high reliefs of St. Augustine, and Holy Mary with the Infant Jesus on the reverse. This piece is sturdily constructed with 19 gauge wire. It would be a lovely piece to travel with or carry along every day.
