St. Gemma was an Italian mystic and stigmatic from the turn of the 20th century. She was miraculously cured of meningitis by the Passionist Gabriel Possenti, who later became a saint in his own right. St. Gemma was known to contend with the Devil, even to the point of physicality, and she is a patron against temptation. St. Gemma is a powerful intercessor, often referred to as the "Daughter of Passion."
