St. Paul the Apostle preached conformity with Jesus through obedience, poverty, and receptivity to the Holy Spirit. This configured chaplet features a cast red bronze reproduction St. Paul medal, and Jesus and Mary center, with Owyhee picture jasper beads.

Owyhee picture jasper has beautiful shades of green blue and grey, with tans and brick reds showing in sedimentary layers. It is found at the border of Oregon and Idaho in the Owyhee mountains. It’s a fine-grained jasper, and polishes nicely.

The St. Paul medal is from an Italian original, and shows some elements of the Nouveau style. St. Paul’s divinely inspired contributions to the Bible are represented on the reverse with a descending dove and an open book.
