St. Maurice Chaplet in Botswana Agate
St. Maurice Chaplet in Botswana Agate
St. Maurice is the patron saint of soldiers and infantrymen, armorers, weavers, clothmakers, and cloth dyers. This fine chaplet is made with Botswana agate cylinders, and the beads are shaded from light to dark. The beads are smooth and clean, and a lovely range of dark browns, dark greys, and lighter greys.
The St. Maurice medal features a fantastic relief of St. Maurice in Roman armor on the obverse, and a depiction of the Clervaux Abbey on the reverse. All of the details of the medal are sharp and crisp. The crucifix bears similarly crisp mistletoe details. This chaplet is on the larger and longer side, making it a perfect fit for somebody with larger hands.
