The original for this crucifix was a VERY rare find. The thistle plant is thorny, so it is a Catholic symbol of the Passion of Christ. This reproduction crucifix has some heft for its length, and may easily be used for 6mm or 7mm rosaries, or a variety of chaplets and tenners. The Nouveau Thistle crucifix is the perfect match to the Classic Thistle rosary center, part number EC.085.
