Art Deco Bloodstone Rosary
Art Deco Bloodstone Rosary
Bloodstone is classic stone used for rosary beads, so named for the flecks of red hematite that can dot their surface. These dark viridian green bloodstones are moody and extra soothing. The large 8mm beads are easy to hold and easy to tell apart from the 10mm bloodstone Pater beads, even with closed eyes.
The Art Deco styled crucifix features prominent radiant details, as well as three holes “pierced” in each arm end, signifying the Holy Trinity. The Center features well defined depictions of Holy Mary and the Sacred heart on the face and reverse, as well as neat Art Deco styling and rays shining from Jesus on the reverse.
This piece fits nicely in a medium-large hand, and is built using strong 19 gauge Sterling silver wire, and Sturdy 21 gauge Sterling silver wire wraps on the Pater beads. This piece is a lovely and soothing piece, with just a hint of panache.
