Hidden Valley Jasper Rosary
Hidden Valley Jasper Rosary
Hidden Valley jasper is sourced from Idaho, and it’s a less common jasper which may still be had for a very reasonable price. Hidden Valley jasper is prized for it’s beautiful colors: mustard yellow, dusty pink, dove gray to white and burnt orange. Hidden Valley is a type of porcelain jasper — an opaque, micro-crystalline chalcedony.
This charming rosary has an openwork Miraculous Medal centerpiece and a French Arms Eucharistic crucifix. The crucifix is short but very stout and holds its own with 10mm Pater beads. The back of the solid Sterling cast reproduction crucifix is decorated with wheat, grapevine and chalice details.
The sun gives these beads a lot of intensity in photos. Indoors, in hand, the colors are beautifully soft.
