The Blessed Sacrament Chaplet

Configuration

Monstrance or Eucharistic end medal + 33 beads in the circle.

The Blessed Sacrament chaplet is prayed when, through illness or other circumstance, or no local mass offered on feast days, one cannot attend mass and receive Holy Communion. The 33 beads of the circle represent the 33 years of Christ's earthly life.

Pope St. Pius X, the "Pope of the Eucharist," approved this chaplet in the early 1900's, with 300 days indulgence to the whole world with each recitation.

How to pray the Blessed Sacrament Chaplet

On the end medal, make the sign of the cross and pray:

As I cannot now receive Thee, my Jesus, in Holy Communion, come spiritually into my heart, and make it Thine own forever.

On each of the 33 beads of the circles, pray:

Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament on the altar, have mercy on us.
