General Rosary Information
Service Section Overview
In this section of the website, you should find answers to most of your questions concerning your purchases from the retail catalogue, as well as shipping information, product guarantees, contact information, customer testimonials, and an about Meinssen Rosaries page. You may find all these pages from the drop-down menu above.
If you have a question you don't find an answer to, please feel free to write or call!
For specific information on the prayer beads I offer and the materials I use in construction, please visit the general rosary information page in the catalogue section. I would like to repeat here that each 5 decade rosary that I sell comes with a free, attached St. Jude medal to match the metal of your rosary (Sterling, bronze and vermeil for gold filled rosaries). I do this to fulfill my personal obligation to spread the word of St. Jude's powerful intercession. The St. Jude medals are not interchangeable with other devotional medals, but I'm happy to add a special medal at cost to your rosary if you desire.
After eight years working with hundreds of customers on personalized rosaries not offered in the catalogue, I am no longer able to offer custom rosary services. This does make me a little sad, as I've gotten to know many of you quite closely, and your amazing ideas have greatly improved my design and construction methods.
The main reason for this custom hiatus is my health. Custom work adds many hours to the completion of a single rosary. To keep up with both custom work and rosaries for the website, I have to work fourteen to sixteen hours a day, every day of the week, and this is sedentary work -- I'm either at the computer shopping for parts or creating listings, or at my work table constructing. In the last couple of years, so much sitting has taken its toll with some health problems.
My goal is to fill my online shelves with rosaries and other prayer beads immediately available for purchase, and to provide more special order rosaries (copies of rosaries already designed and sold) which will provide you a little more time with your budget to purchase. Many of my rosaries are in high end beads which aren't common, but please feel free to write about any sold rosary which interests you, and I may be able to find beads to reproduce it.
Thank you so much for your understanding concerning this policy change.
While I try to convey the aesthetics of my pieces through quality photographs and text, I understand that buying online is different than a purchase made from a local retailer, where you're able to judge color, size and handling in person.
If you are in any way dissatisfied with your new rosary purchase, including bead color and quality, size, overall appearance, weight, drape or function, please write or call within 10 days of receipt of your item to notify me of your intention to return it. I will handle any customer concern quickly, cheerfully and with no debate, and only request notice in order to organize my accounting. This insures your prompt repayment.
Return shipping fees for aesthetics are the responsibility of the purchaser, both domestic and international.
For customers in the United States, to send a return, please repack your item in its gift box and use a bubble mailer for secure shipping. If you'd like to track your return with $50 of included insurance, small, flat rate Priority Mail boxes are available free at your local post office. Upon receipt of your returned item, I will promptly refund you the total cost of your original purchase, including original shipping.
For international customers, please repack your item in its gift box and use a bubble mailer for secure shipping. Upon receipt of your return, I will promptly refund the cost of your item. I am not able to offer reimbursement of original shipping costs for international customers.
Please note: rosaries, chaplets, tenners and bracelets over 10 days delivered with no return notification to me will be considered aesthetically acceptable to you and used, and are not available for refunds. As life is often hectic, I do allow 30 days for the actual physical return of your item to my door, as long as the 10 day notification guideline is followed. If your return item is not received in 30 days, I'll assume you changed your mind, and will consider your item used and no longer available for return
I stand firmly behind the quality of every rosary, chaplet, tenner and rosary bracelet that I ship, and use the highest quality materials available to me for their construction.
Should you experience a break or failure for any reason whatsoever, I will repair your piece at no cost, reimburse your shipping to me, and pay for the shipping back to you. Please know that no matter what the situation of the failure is, I always assume full responsibility for it, so there's no need for you to be shy in writing to me or calling to arrange a fix.
For international customers, I will reimburse 1st class (regular airmail) shipping for a repair to me, and will ship USPS 1st class mail back to you free of charge. Please note that any tariffs on an international return shipment are the responsibility of the customer.
There is no time limit on free repairs. The workmanship of your rosary is guaranteed for life.
Both my aesthetic and workmanship guarantees extend to rosaries given as gifts to third parties.
