The reverse of each Sterling medal depicts the Sorrowful Heart of Mary.

Each amber bead is double capped with Sterling rings, with wire wrapped bowties in lieu of chain.

The body of an ant trapped long ago in the sap of a tree is frozen in time within this amber bead.

As this chaplet was coming together, I didn't even see the body of that ant in the photo immediately above. I was so shocked to discover it in the pictures! Pretty wild--that insect is tens of millions of years old. Amber is feather-light, and the golden color is incomparable. Beauty!
