Bisbee turquoise is highly valued for its saturated blue color with spiderweb matrix, and for its hardness, which is unusual in turquoise. The mine in Bisbee, Arizona which produced this turquoise has been closed for decades, and the only rough or beads available now are those which were taken at that time. These beads have been stabilized for durability, but are not dyed. The chain used in this set of rosary beads has flat "ribbons" of Sterling used to construct the links, and the feel of it is so silky in hand. This beautiful and uncommon rosary, constructed in Sterling silver, is excellent for both men and women. Striking!
